Chronic dry eyes

Migraine
Ocular migraines or migraine headaches are rare conditions charteceized by temporary loss of vision or even temporary blindness which generally returns to normal within an hour.
Though generally harmless and temporary, blurred vision and flickering light are all common symptoms which can indicate the start of ocular migraine and migraine headache.
High blood sugar
If you are having a tough time controlling your blood sugar levels, you can get blurred vision. If these levels remain constantly on the higher side for a prolonged period it can indicate other serious eye problems. Optic nerve inflammation
Also referred to as optic neuritis, optic nerve inflammation can lead to distorted vision or blurry eyesight. While this disorder usually heals on its own, in severe cases your physician may prescribe steroids to speed up the recovery process.
Glaucoma
The danger with glaucoma related blurred vision is that the symptoms don’t show up until the disease reaches an advanced stage. While glaucoma typically occurs in people after the age of 50, it is recommended to do a thorough eye checkup once a year after that age.
Since at this stage there is no cute, all you can do is to slow down the progression through meditation and laser procedures.
Macular degeneration
This is another age-related disorder in people over 60 which affects your central vision and causes distortion. Rather than lines looking straight, they will depict a wavy effect.
Like glaucoma, macular degeneration has no cute and the only way is to slow down the progression of the disease by maintaining a healthy lifestyle, exercise, not smoking and wearing sunglasses to protect eyes from ultra-violet light.
